Happy 5th Birthday, Keagan!!!!

Today is Keagan's birthday. To celebrate we had a slumber party with a few of his friends. Brave, I know. 6 of the boys ended up staying all night, what an experience that was!!!! They all had fun it seemed but even now I have to say I'm worn out!!!:) That's what Keagan wanted though so that's what he got. After all the boys were gone we headed to the Easter Egg Hunt(below blog), then following the egg hunt Keagan's friend Andrew came over to play for several hours while his mom and I studied. Keagan has had a busy weekend. Enjoy the pictures.

Keagan at 5pm and I don't expect him to get up until morning, he's one tired birthday boy!!!!

Today was the annual Easter Egg Hunt that our church does for the kids. Here are a few pictures I captured from it. Kason didn't do much egg hunting. He found one and was totally content with that one egg. Keagan on the other hand got way too much candy, I'll have to ration it out:) Happy Easter Everybody, celebrate our Risen Saviour this weekend!!!!!!

Yes, we know the shin guards go under the socks, Keagan likes them better on top of the socks:)

Hello from the Wolfe Family:) Life is going good, especially since Keagan and I are on spring break this week.....yaaahooo!!!!! Soccer is going well. Keagan is doing great and really enjoying the game. The first game went well, Keagan was a little shy with the ball but overall did very well for his first game. The second game was really awsome because Keagan got his first goal!! He was so excited and his cheering section was too!!!! That one goal boosted his confidence so much!!!!! He is really doing good and had to play extra hard the 3rd game because a few players were out due to spring break week coming up. He made another goal during the third game but it was for the other team:) Oh well, he is trying hard and making contact with the ball. It is really fun to watch these games, those kiddos put on such a show sometimes:)
This past week Kason went for his 21 month well child visit. He is doing great. He only had to get one shot but he jerked and kicked so much the needle was bent by the time it was all over with. Poor thing, he didn't like it one bit but it sure didn't take him long to get over it. He was such a little chub for his first months of life but has slimmed down so much!!! His weight is only 25th percentile, wow!!!! It was in the 90's for so long. Guess that's what walking will do for such a chubby baby, huh??
A lot has happened with Jason in the past couple of weeks. When he went into the car business, he always wanted to move to a management position. It's just one of those things though that you have to do your time on the sales floor to promote to management. The dealership where he started off always promised him a management position whenever one came up but nothing ever seemed to turn out. He decided that he could sell cars closer to home w/o a commute and do the same thing so he started working at a dealership about 10 min. from home back in November. He always tried to convince me and everybody else that it was fine and he liked it there but you know how wives can read husbands and I knew very well that he was not happy with his move. We prayed, and prayed about it and Jason had just told God, ok help me to just be content if this is where you want me to be. I think it was one, maybe 2 days after that when his old boss called him and asked if he wanted his shot at a management position....wow!!!! Jason was really excited and felt like God had a hand in it so he accepted the new job from the original dealership where he had stared out selling cars. No, the hours aren't better and never will be in the car business but he is very excited about the challenge that lies before him. I am happy to see him excited about his work and so I am willing to sacrifice a few more hours a week w/o him to see him happy about what he is doing. One day God might open another door and allow a 5 day a week, 8am-5pm job, but until then we will be thankful for all He has provided us with and remember that He is the most important thing in our lives and that He has the master blue print for our lives and His timing is best no matter what!!!

Yes, we are alive!!! I'm not doing too well on updating as much as I'd like. I've got some pictures I need to download to the computer from Keagan's first and second soccer game but until then here is a cute picture of Keagan and some of his friends at the Easter Pageant we went to yesterday. He thought it was so cool getting to meet one of the soldiers.
