So the above picture is what happens when I try to do some house cleaning. Things in other rooms get torn apart so the whole house can never be clean all at the same time!!
Oh wow!! I know it has been so long since I've posted anything on here. So much has been going on. Life has been so hectic and crazy and I don't see an end in sight in the next couple of weeks.
What we've been up to, well........I'm in school. I'm taking two classes this semester. They are online courses which is nice but I still have to fit in time to study every now and then. I'll be going through an RN program at a college not far from our house. I'm not sure if I'll start spring '08 or Fall of '08 but as soon as I get two more pre reques out of the way I'll start. Not sure if I can do biology and A&P I in the same semester or not. Might be a little tough but I REALLY want to start the program in January so we will see. It'll be tough but I am pretty determined to do this so look out world. I would like to be a L & D nurse(labor and delivery) if I end up not liking that then I would probably go to NICU next. So, that's one thing that's been going on.....next, VBS starts tomorrow. I am directing one of our 3 kinder classes. I've never helped with VBS much less directed a class so I've been pretty overwhelmed with that. It takes a lot of planning and time to prepare for this big week!!! Pray that it goes well and that we can ALL be an example to these children and plant seeds in them that won't ever stop growing!!! Next on the list. We put our house back up for sale a couple of weeks ago and received 2 offers that very same week so we will close mid July and be out at the end of July. We don't know where we are going just waiting on God to direct us and help us feel at ease about a home. We would love to have something bigger!!!! Last week Keagan was sick for about 3 days and my grandmother went in the hospital. She went home and then went back a day later and since then we found out that she has conjestive heart failure and pneumonia!!! She's very weak and my parents say she is sleeping a lot so pray for her whenever you think about her. Also, I thought I had time to fit a garage sale in so I had one on Friday and Saturday, what was I thinking!!?? It actually went pretty well and I was able to get rid of a lot of stuff that was just taking up space in the attic, so that was good. This is going to be a long week for me. I am supposed to be at VBS every day before 8 am. We usually aren't out of bed before 8 am much less dressed and somewhere by 8am. Pray that I'll have LOTS of energy to make it until Friday.
Ok, so that's it, that's why I haven't posted lately. I also need to be studying for a mid-term so hopefully I can fit than in this week at some point!!! Hope each of you are doing well and hope to hear from you all soon!!!

You are a busy woman! When things slow down, we really need to get together. Have fun at VBS this week. I'll say a prayer for y'all! I think y'all should move back to Waco!

Heather, you're right. Once you put your mind to something--look out world. You have been that way your entire life--whatever your big
brothers did, you were doing it with them (telling them how to do it!!) We are so proud of you for taking this on and want to always be encouraging you along the way.
All our love.

Good Grief girl!! Sounds like the last thing you needed to add to the list was VBS. But I always seem to work better under pressure. I am sure we will all be dragging in Friday morning. I usually end up getting there later and later each day. See you in the halls.

That is great that you are going back to school. My mom is a nurse and finds it very fulfilling. We are so thankful for the NICU nurses who helped explain everything to us when Caleb was born early. That's great!

Ok - I knew you were motivated, but my word!!!!1 That is awesome!!!! I am so glad you are going back to school. I think you are perfect to be a nurse. You already have that caretaker thing down pat. Just look at how you take care of everyone in your life!! Hope you are surviving VBS. It is these weeks when I really do not like working. It forces me to miss out - normally I do not mind, but oh well!

Let's talk soon - maybe dinner or coffee or something when you are not being one of your may responsibilities!

love,

Mel

I agree with your mom. You have always been the type that can handle what seems like a million things at once. You will succeed at whatever it is you do. I know you will make a great nurse.

My goodness, girl! You're really taking on a lot. Working for God, you know you'll have the strength, for it is He who can give it to you, especially working for Him. Back to school, huh? Good for you. And, yes, you would make a great nurse. I'm so proud of you and your family.
