A few weekends ago we made a quick trip to Paris for Jason's grandmother's 75th birthday. It was a surprise. We were in Paris less than 24 hours. The boys were worn out after it all but we were glad we went. One of the funnest things about the trip is that we were able to see our only niece and play with her for a little while. She is only 4 weeks younger than Kason and she's a little cutie pie!!!

A few pictures from Kason's birthday that we celebrated on Tuesday. He enjoyed his cake just like Keagan did. Being messy doesn't bother either one of them!! Also a picture of his new car, he loves!!!!
We also went to the doctor this week for his well baby check and we think that he's going to be a shortie. Doctor said she thinks he's got my genes. He's still in the 10th percentile for height. At first he was around 75th but he's slowed way down. That's ok, I want him exactly how God made him!!! I asked about his head, for most of you know what a big ole head he's had from the start. It's a laughing matter that we joke about a lot. She said it has slowed down growing just a little bit but it hasn't made it back to the chart yet!!! LOL :) Even with all of that being said he's the cutest most adorable 1 year old anybody could ever know!!!
Happy Weekending. We'll be having fun with grandparents and two uncles this weekend and I'll post pics I'm sure next week. I'll also be posting pics of this past weekend from our trip to Paris for Jason's grandmother's 75th birthday. I left my camera at my sis-n-laws house and my mom will be bringing it to me this weekend:)

Happy 1st Birthday Kason!!

I honestly cannot believe that it has already been a year since Kason was born!!! I think time is flying by quicker than it did when Keagan was the only kiddo around. I am so sad that he is already getting so big and changing so much and no it doesn't make me want another one yet:) Kason is such a joy. He's a totally different child than Keagan. I thought oh, two boys they'll be the same this will be easy!! Well yes, it has been easy but no the two of them are not the same at all!!!! Kason is so laid back and easy going!!! He loves to make people laugh. The more laughs he gets the more he'll try to get those laughs to keep coming!!! Let's see........he can say a few animal sounds, he's crawling finally, not army crawling but on his knees crawling, not interested in walking at all!!! He is eating great, no more baby food, he wants what we eat!!! He LOVES, loves, loves to be outside doing anything. He especially likes his swing on the front porch. We are working on body parts and for now he knows where his head is. He can say mama, dada, bye-bye, and pretty.(I have some flowers outside in a pot. I always go out each day to water or check on othem and tell him pretty so yes, that's been one of his first words) He adores his big brother more than anything and we love watching them interact and play together. They make each other laugh a lot!!! Happy Birthday Kason Brother!!!! We love you to the moon and back!!!!!!!!!!

Keagan spent the night with Pop and Gram the other night so Jason and I were relaxing letting Kason do his own thing while we watched Grey's and ER. Our only night to watch our shows:) Well Kason started whinning and fussing a little and wouldn't stop so Jason got up to check on him. This is what he found. I belive Kason thought he was in jail. He was definately trapped and had no clue as to how he had gotten under the chair so he could get out. It was pretty funny. Of course, when we went to check on him he started laughing and thought he was pretty cute for what he had done!!

This past Friday we invited Thomas over to play. His mom Julie ended up having to work a little bit so I kept Trent his little brother as well. He is only 3 months younger than Kason. It was fun having them come play. Thomas and Keagan are acting like silly pirates in the picture.

A week ago Sunday we went to an airshow not far from here. We had a couple of extra tickets so we invited Johnathan to come along. The boys had fun for a while but were more interested in what they could get to eat and find to play with than they were in actually watching the show. At least I think they had fun anyway.

The boys and I enjoyed the day today by going to one of our favorite spots, the creek, to throw rocks. We also went up and played at the park before we left. It's always a fun time together when we go there. Hope you enjoy the pictures and have a great Sunday!!!!

I love my boys SO much!!! They are such a joy!!!!! They are growing up so fast. I can't believe Keagan will be in Kindergarten next year!!!!! I am so thankful every day that I am able to stay at home and enjoy every minute with them!!!

Just a few pictures I took of the boys this week while playing. Keagan loves going to the neighbors to play with their basketball goal and he actually does pretty good!! He's learned to dribble pretty good and makes quite a few hoops. Kason loves doing anything outside!! As long as he is outside he is a happy boy!!! He likes playing on his slide but enjoys climbing up it more than he does sliding down it. :)

What a fun weekend we had. My parents came down to visit Friday and went home late Sunday. It's always fun and nice to have them here. The boys loved it and so did we!! We did some shopping at the outlet mall in Round Rock and had dinner at one of my favorite places, The Monument. Below are a few pics from the weekend. Thank you Grandma and D-dad for coming. Keagan sings in pre school choir at church and they sang in big church last night. Keagan really surprised us. He actually got up on the stage and sang and did the hand motions to some of the music. We were so proud. I didn't think he would get in front of all the people being as shy as he is. Sorry, no pictures from that. I couldn't find my camera but we did video the whole thing.

Below are a few pictures from Keagan's donkey show that was last weekend. He loves doing this. He won a blue ribbon(every child this age does) but he didn't want the blue ribbon. He wanted the red one instead. Haha!!! Keagan's Pop and Aunt Lori also showed some donkeys and I believe that all did well. Good job Aunt Lori on your first(I think) blue ribbon!!!
