Well things are well around here. I am trying to do better about keeping this updated a little more often even though school is in full swing. I am only taking 2 classes and 1 on of them is an online course so right now my plate doesn't seem as full as last semester, thank goodness!!!
I am posting a picture tonight of the boys sleeping. Kason has been sleeping in Keagan's bed this week. He's only been in there a couple of nights but they both seem to like the arrangement ok. Kason did wake up one night screaming. So, I ran in to see what was wrong and he had totally turned himself around, his head was stuck under the comforter and he couldn't figure out how to get out. Once I turned him around and gave him his blankie he was sound asleep again. Isn't the picture just too sweet!!??

This weekend we had my mom's family minus only two people down for lunch and games on Saturday. When I was younger we would always see aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents on my mom's side either on Thanksgiving or Christmas. Well, since the family has grown so much and most of us cousins have our own families and in laws and parents to go see it's been awhile since we were all together. We've decided not to try the holidays together anymore but to try a weekend some other time during the year so we all can still get together and keep up with each other. This was the first year and it was great!!!!! There are 8 of us cousins and only 2 were not able to come and all 4 of my grandfather's children and their spouses were here. A little not about Grandpa, my grandmother died when I was 13, Grandpa and Margaret have dated for a number of years probably 10 years or so. So, Margaret is like part of the family. She goes everywhere he does and vice versa. They even live in apartments right next to each other on the 2nd floor of their building. They both will be 89 and 90 in a few months!!! They still climb the stairs to their apartment and are in great shape for their age. So, when you see their pictures below you'll know their story. Anyway,it was a great weekend filled with family.

What have we been up to, well........here are a few things that have been going on lately. Last weekend my good friend Amanda came down to visit. She lives a couple of hours from here but with both of our busy schedules we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like. It was SO nice to have her here for a night to hang out with and chat with and get caught up on life. We have been friends for 16 years!!!! What a sweet friend!!! Thank you so much for coming to visit Amanda!!!!!!

Don't you just love surprises?? Well the other night my in laws came over to take the boys out to eat to give Jason and I some peace and quiet for a while. But, when they came in they brought a surprise for me that my mother in law, Elaine, had bought for me. I've been painting the house to get some darker, warmer colors around here and so she bought me an awsome wall hanging that I just love. I've seen it before at my favorite store in Salado but never would break down and buy it. What an awsome surprise....here's a picture for you to see. Thank you so much Elaine, we love it!!!!!

Just posting some pictures from Christmas. Yes, I'm on Christmas break and still can't manage to blog more often. Christmas was nice. We were in Paris for a few days. And then in Salado Christmas Eve and back at our house Christmas Day. It was nice seeing family but not so nice all of us being sick with the throw up bug again the entire time, oh well, that's life right???

What a great weekend!!!

To start things off, Saturday, Jason went to work as usual. The boys and I slept in until almost 10 am....that's right friends, I said 10 am!!!! It was wonderful to be able to do that and not feel guilty for doing so. We made a quick run to W-M for some baking items. Then....we came home and made our annual batch of Christmas cut out sugar cookies. It was SOOOOO much fun to make a mess in the kitchen and see Keagan and Kason have so much fun.

After making our cookies and decorating them, Keagan went to his friend, Johnathan's house and played for pretty much the rest of the afternoon. Kason napped the whole time Keagan was gone and Mommy made her first batch of party mix. I really enjoyed it. My mom always makes this party mix usually around the holidays but sometimes during the year. But anyway, for my first time it was REALLY good. Jason, the boys and I have been munching on it continuously since it was finished!!! Christmas time is so much fun!!!!

Saturday evening me and the boys picked Jason up from work and headed to Waco to watch our good ole' Baylor Bears play basketball. Before the game we met our friends Chris, Preston, and Caprice for supper at Chic fil A. It was so much fun getting to see them again although we did miss Wendi who was working Sat. night.
The boys did great all through the game. They actually were able to meet Bruiser Bear up close and personal. Keagan thought that was pretty cool but Kason decided he loved Bruiser from a distance and not so much up close. I was so sad I didn't even think of taking my camera for the game.

Just a little update, not pictures but a better post to come soon with picts. Just wanted to let all know that yes, we are still here, alive and breathing!!:) After a bout with pneumonia for Keagan, and a terribly stuffy head and nasty cough from Kason and many LATE nights of studying for finals, I can say, Yes we've survived!!! Wahoo!!!!!! I took my last final today and already know my grades and can say I am very pleased!! I will advise anybody out there thinking of going back to school, DON'T...whatevery you do DON'T take 2 science classes together!!!! I know God was with me helping me every step of the way. One morning that I had a final I woke up late. I was going to try to get up early and study before class so when I woke up my feet hit the floor running, then all of a sudden I felt this calmness and just like a whisper in my ear that said "it's going to be ok," I got to school and got 3 test grades back from the previous days classes and all 3 were just as good or better than I had had all semester. Then the final I had that day I made the best grade I had made all semester. So, all that to say, I know I couldn't have made it without prayers of my friends and family, I truly felt them!!!!! Thanks to everybody that is supporting me in this journey!!!!! Love you all!!!
