Not much other than the usual going on around here. My brain is still wondering what in the world I'm doing to it with all of this school and studying but hopefully it will get over the shock of it all pretty soon:)
We had a play date last week at the splash park with several friends but the pictures didn't really turn out too great so I won't post them. Hopefully Jason will purchase a new camera for me pretty soon that will capture action shots a little better than my current one does.
Just one cute little story I thought I'd blog. I was getting Kason ready for bed tonight. The normal routine is bath, lotion up, read stories, say prayers, then sing a song or two. I got to the song part and was singing Jesus Loves Me. When I sang " for the Bible tells me so" Kason would say Bibo. It was so cute. So I kept singing just to see if he was really saying Bible. Every time I said Bible he repeated "Bibo" each time. It was the cutest thing, I just had to share.

Happy 40th Anniversary, Mom and Dad!!!!
This past weekend my mom and dad celebrated their 40th anniversary. My brothers and I planned a little dinner for them in the Dallas area. A few of my mom's brothers and their families live within an hour of there so they met our family for dinner plus my good friend Amanda. We really had a good time and hope that we helped make the celebration special for them!!

The first half of the weekend Keagan went camping with Gram and Pop. They went camping with their donkey group and yes, they took the donkeys camping with them. Keagan had a great time. In the first picture he is playing musical hoola(?) hoops with his donkey with the help of Aunt Lori. In the second picture he is riding in the golf cart with all of his friends that were there. With Pop being the chauffeur.

Just thought I'd post some random pictures of what we've been up to lately. Also, not too many pictures of Keagan because he runs almost everytime I try to get him. Also, Kason has learned two new words. Gah cah (golf cart). He loves riding in Pop's golf carts at his house and last night when we went outside he said 'gah cah.' We were amazed at his overachievement:)
Kason loves to try to feed himself like a big boy. Some days I'm up for the challenge and mess that is involved with that and some days I'm not. Here are a couple of pictures of him feeding himself yogurt!!

Here is Keagan and Kason playing together in the playroom. Also, a picture of Kason brushing his teeth. He loves to do this!!!

Jason's mom(Meme) and sister(Aunt Rachael) and our niece, Brooklyn came down to visit last week. They stayed Thurs. thru Sat. Here are a few random pictures I took while they were here. Brooklyn is only 4 weeks younger than Kason and they both have just learned to walk so it was fun!!! Jason left for a short business trip to San Diego but since they came I didn't have to stay all by myself so that was nice.
Kason and Brooklyn after a wet morning walk. It started raining on us.

At the splash park, I had more pictures but I figured Meme and Aunt Rachael wouldn't appreciate me posting them in their swimming suits on here:)

Ok, just a few things. The new house is going good. It's really nice to have extra room and empty cabinets in the kitchen:) The playroom is a huge bonus!!! It's nice to have the bedrooms clean and not cluttered with toys from wall to wall. The one thing that I hate, hate, hate about it is in the pictures. Yes, today I found our 3rd scorpion so far!! This on was in the play room. I think it was actually feeling the effects of the exterminator who was here one week ago Friday. The second one I found yesterday in the boys bathroom crawling rather quickly on the floor. And the first one was one week ago yesterday on the dining room curtains that I was opening for the day and almost grabbed!!!!!! Ugh........I really don't want to get stung but if somebody is going to then I'd rather it be me and not one of the boys!! I'm having to check the beds every night to make sure one isn't in them. I have to make sure I use a flashlight if I get out of bed to use the bathroom or check on the kids because I'm always scared I'll step on one!! Does anybody have any suggestions?? Thank you Jesus that I've found them all thus far before anybody has gotten stung!!!

Ok, so time for a quick update. We are moved!! Almost totally unpack. Yippee!! Don't remember moving ever being so hard but I guess I haven't moved as a family of four before either:)
I almost have school wrapped up for the summer then I'll have about 3 weeks to relax. Next semester I'll be taking Biology and A&P so .....wish me well!!:)
Monday we drove up to see some friends that live a few hours away. They've just recently moved to Texas from out of state. Aaron and Jason have been good friends since 5th grade. Katie and I have been friends since she and Aaron got married and I'm so glad he found such a great wife. I love getting together with them. It seems we always have something to talk about. They have two kids Kobey is 5 1/2 and Liley is only 2 weeks younger than Kason, they are also expected another in September. Anyway, we had a great time with them!!! Here are a few pictures from the afternoon.

Ok! So I know it's been a long time. Time just flies when you are having fun, right?? Summer is flasing before our eyes and before I know it Keagan will be back in school.
Our days lately have consisted of packing. One more week and we are outta here. Thankfully my wonderful mother is coming to visit and help me finish things up!!!
Keagan is doing great. His summer has had a lot of swimming in it. He has been taking swimming lessons but complains about it being too long and making him SO tired. I think he just doesn't want to do what his teacher tells him for 30 minutes. He's rather be doing his own thing in the water. He's doing great with swimming though. He has a pair of flippers and will swim anywhere and do anything with them on. He swam to the bottom of the pool to pick up a ring at the 8 ft mark!!!! He also had a fun time the other night. He spent the night with his friend Thomas. That was his first time staying with someone other than family. He did fine though and had a ton of fun. Thomas was so sweet he wanted to give up his own bed so Keagan could sleep in it and Thomas slept on a mattress in the floor. What a great friend:)
Kason is doing great as well. He's really starting to like reading, thankfully(he had me worried). He can make all kinds of animal noises and can say quite a few words. It's just getting him in the mood to want to do what you ask. If he doesn't want to do his "tricks" then you are just out of luck!!! His 14 months today!!! He can say thank you, donkey, pretty, cracker, mama, dada, out, and can sign for more. Of course, all of these words are not as clear as day but J and I usually know what he is saying.:)
I am trying to wrap up my summer session of my 10 week summer course. I'll be taking Biology semester and unfortunately it won't be an online class like these last 2 were. Jason is doing well, just a hard working dad and husband.
This week we'll be closing on our house and then probably closing on the new house the 30th. Yes we close on our new house and have to be out of our old house all in the same day. Should be interesting!!! Guess I won't ramble on anymore. I'll post some random pictures of what we've been up to.
Oh and one last thing I have to say CONGRATULATIONS to the WARD FAMILY.
They are expecting their 3rd child!!!! They are friends of ours from church. They have Kathryn who is Keagan's age 4 and Emily is 3. I hope they get to experience the joys of a boy!!!! Anyway, we are excited for them and their growing family, congrats guys!!!!

Okay, so it's time for another update. Where do I begin?? I guess it's been a while since posting so I'll do my best at catching you up on everything.
So, last week, the last week of June, was VBS. Many, many people, and many, many hours, and many, many resources were put into preparation for this big week!! There were 940 kids enrolled!!!! Isn't that awsome!!?? At least 17 kids came to know Christ!!!! Our church has an awsome pre school ministry and we are very grateful to be a part of our church!! Anyway, I was the director of one of the kinder classes but had to leave after our first day to go see my grandmother. I was torn. I hated to leave but I hated not to leave. The docs thought it might be my last chance to see her so I went. I returned in time to catch the last day of VBS. I will definately help out next year, direct, I don't know but definately help:)
Well my Granny had a lot wrong with her I won't give all the details but she is in a skilled nursing facility doing some rehab and hoping to get out this weekend. Everybody else doesn't think she'll be out that soon but we aren't telling her that just yet. Her legs are very week so hopefully this rehab they are putting her through there will help in her regaining some strength. Thanks to all of you that have asked about her and prayed for her!!!
We are still on the hunt for a house and narrowing our field very quickly. Hopefully within this week or early part of next week we will be assured of where we are going when moving day gets here.
School is going good. I have a mid-term due this week so if you think about it pray that I do well. I want to have all A's this semester, hopefully I won't let myself down.
Keagan went to see Uncle Matt and Aunt Amelia Thurs-Sun of last week. I dropped him off at there house on my way home from visiting my grandmother. Uncle Matt lives about 3 hours from our house. They have no kids YET and spoiled Keagan rotten. In the 3 days he was there he went swimming, ate out a lot I think, went to the movies, and went to Six Flags. He loved every minute of it. He even got his picture taken with Bat Man and Robin at Six Flags. Aunt Amelia hasn't sent me the pictures yet so I couldn't post that.
Ok, I guess that about does it for now. Hope you enjoy the pictures!!!
Happy 4th to you all!!! And mostly thank you to all of you serving in the military to defend our freedom!! And thank you to all military families for supporting your soldiers, you go through a lot with long deployments as well. Thank you for all of your sacrifices!!!!
