Busy, crazy, stressful, tiring all describe my summer. Praise the Lord I'm finished with my summer Pharmacology class. We covered 42 chapters of medicine and each exam was over 12-15 chapters at a time. Many of you know that I tried to drop because I knew once I received the syllabus that the class was going to be much more intense than I was wanting it to be for the summer. In Heather like timing I tried to drop the day after drops were allowed!!!! Maybe it was God because he knew that in the end I would be happy to have another class out of the way. It did wear me out and took all my time and energy but I will be getting a high B out of the class and I am very pleased with that. Thank you to you all who have prayed for me thus far in this journey of mine!!!! Also I have to thank family and friends who have helped me out with the kids so I could study. I truly don't think I could have survived this semester without you. You know who you are I love you and appreciate you SO much!!!
Now, I know I won't be able to catch you up on everything else that has gone on over the summer but I will post a few picts and highlights.

The boys and I went down to where Jason works and treated him to Chic fil A for lunch for his birthday and took him cookies and cupcakes to share at the dealership.

On Sunday afternoons or on Jason's day off during the week the boys like to go out kyaking(sp.) at the lake. I have to admit it can be pretty fun sometimes especially when a group of friends joins us!!

Ha...every time I look at this picture I have to laugh. Brooklyn (our niece) came to visit on her way to Sea World and this is my attempt at getting a picture of the three of them. Why is it so hard to take kids pictures?? We enjoyed her being here SO much and wish we could see our cousins much more often!!!

Where are we going, you say?? On an Amtrak train. The boys and I took a trip on the train to Dallas. Jason met us there later that night. We went to see Matti, Matt, and Amelia and visited the Dallas World Aquarium with them.

Last but not least some girlfriends of mine thought I needed to go out and celebrate finishing up my class. I thought I was going on a date with Jason after work~he told me to be ready just didn't tell me what we would be doing. Then some girlfriends arrived at my house to pick me up and take me out. How thoughtful and considerate of them to think of me and want to surprise me. I love y'all and thank God for putting you in my life!!!!!

Ok, here is my attempt at catching up on things. Can you tell school had started back up for me with the sparse posts?? Enjoy the picts.

Last week we had girls game night and fondue along with some rounds of Bunco!! What a great night that was. So many girls came. It's so nice when you play Bunco, normally you will make your rounds at every table and get to talk to everybody there because of the way the game goes. What a fun group of friends!!!! We really have a great church and some awsome friends we have met through SS, we are truly blessed to have them in our lives!!!!! (hope you don't mind Tiffany, I'm stealing this pict straight off of your blog:)

We went to a friends birthday party last week at the splash pad here in town. I didn't think Kason would like it much since he doesn't like to get his face wet in the bathtub or swimming pool but the kid loved it so much we will definitely have to go back a lot this summer!!

Last week on Jason's day off some sweet friends of ours called and asked us to go out on their boat with them. What a fun treat that was. We all had such a good time, I even boogie boarded for the first time. I didn't stay up long but I did get up for about 10 seconds:)

Wendi and the kids minus Kason

This was Kason pretty much the whole time. He loves boats but when he is on one he wants me to hold him the entire time.

Keagn's 100th jump off of the boat, he and Preston did this forever.

Preston jumping

Me boogie boarding, check out Jason's thumbs up:)

The boys and I took a trip to see the grandparents and hang out for a while with them. While we were there my brothers came in and both my mother's brothers and her sister came to visit my grandfather for Father's Day. It just so happened that we were planning to be there at the same times so it was nice to see so much of my family which doesn't happen very often at all.

Keagan absolutely adores his uncles and loves every minute he gets to spend with them.
Here he is with Uncle Kevin having some ice cream after a hot afternoon of playing baseball

We went to a ranch close to Grandma's house that had all kinds of neat animals, after the walk around the ranch we had a picnic lunch before heading back to Grandma's

Kason, enjoying a book with D-dad

I told y'all I wasn't kidding!!!!!:)

My father in laws birthday was June 8. We had the family over to eat and open gifts. Jason's brother(Matti's dad) and wife surprised everybody by coming down for the night to celebrate with us, what a fun treat since we all were able to see that sweet little Matti:)

Why do boys think motorcycles are so cool??

Kason loved Pop's musical card

Opening gifts with Keagan and Matti's help, well I'm not too sure how much Matti helped:)

Just a little update for our friends and family that knew our sweet little Maggie. About 10 days ago she started having pain in her back and neck. We took her to the vet serveral times and adjusted her pain medications as much as possible to no avail. She went down very quickly and very sadly we had her put to sleep today....never to wake up again. We will miss our sweet Maggie dog and anybody that knew her knows what a wonderful dog she was. So great with the kids, never snapped, barked or lost her patience with them, never stole their toys or stuffed animals. She really was the greatest dog with kids. We will miss her SO much!!! She was 10 years old and so Keagan has known her all of his life and is very sad she won't be there when we get home from our visit out of town to see family.
