Ok, just a few things. The new house is going good. It's really nice to have extra room and empty cabinets in the kitchen:) The playroom is a huge bonus!!! It's nice to have the bedrooms clean and not cluttered with toys from wall to wall. The one thing that I hate, hate, hate about it is in the pictures. Yes, today I found our 3rd scorpion so far!! This on was in the play room. I think it was actually feeling the effects of the exterminator who was here one week ago Friday. The second one I found yesterday in the boys bathroom crawling rather quickly on the floor. And the first one was one week ago yesterday on the dining room curtains that I was opening for the day and almost grabbed!!!!!! Ugh........I really don't want to get stung but if somebody is going to then I'd rather it be me and not one of the boys!! I'm having to check the beds every night to make sure one isn't in them. I have to make sure I use a flashlight if I get out of bed to use the bathroom or check on the kids because I'm always scared I'll step on one!! Does anybody have any suggestions?? Thank you Jesus that I've found them all thus far before anybody has gotten stung!!!

Ok, so time for a quick update. We are moved!! Almost totally unpack. Yippee!! Don't remember moving ever being so hard but I guess I haven't moved as a family of four before either:)
I almost have school wrapped up for the summer then I'll have about 3 weeks to relax. Next semester I'll be taking Biology and A&P so .....wish me well!!:)
Monday we drove up to see some friends that live a few hours away. They've just recently moved to Texas from out of state. Aaron and Jason have been good friends since 5th grade. Katie and I have been friends since she and Aaron got married and I'm so glad he found such a great wife. I love getting together with them. It seems we always have something to talk about. They have two kids Kobey is 5 1/2 and Liley is only 2 weeks younger than Kason, they are also expected another in September. Anyway, we had a great time with them!!! Here are a few pictures from the afternoon.

Ok! So I know it's been a long time. Time just flies when you are having fun, right?? Summer is flasing before our eyes and before I know it Keagan will be back in school.
Our days lately have consisted of packing. One more week and we are outta here. Thankfully my wonderful mother is coming to visit and help me finish things up!!!
Keagan is doing great. His summer has had a lot of swimming in it. He has been taking swimming lessons but complains about it being too long and making him SO tired. I think he just doesn't want to do what his teacher tells him for 30 minutes. He's rather be doing his own thing in the water. He's doing great with swimming though. He has a pair of flippers and will swim anywhere and do anything with them on. He swam to the bottom of the pool to pick up a ring at the 8 ft mark!!!! He also had a fun time the other night. He spent the night with his friend Thomas. That was his first time staying with someone other than family. He did fine though and had a ton of fun. Thomas was so sweet he wanted to give up his own bed so Keagan could sleep in it and Thomas slept on a mattress in the floor. What a great friend:)
Kason is doing great as well. He's really starting to like reading, thankfully(he had me worried). He can make all kinds of animal noises and can say quite a few words. It's just getting him in the mood to want to do what you ask. If he doesn't want to do his "tricks" then you are just out of luck!!! His 14 months today!!! He can say thank you, donkey, pretty, cracker, mama, dada, out, and can sign for more. Of course, all of these words are not as clear as day but J and I usually know what he is saying.:)
I am trying to wrap up my summer session of my 10 week summer course. I'll be taking Biology semester and unfortunately it won't be an online class like these last 2 were. Jason is doing well, just a hard working dad and husband.
This week we'll be closing on our house and then probably closing on the new house the 30th. Yes we close on our new house and have to be out of our old house all in the same day. Should be interesting!!! Guess I won't ramble on anymore. I'll post some random pictures of what we've been up to.
Oh and one last thing I have to say CONGRATULATIONS to the WARD FAMILY.
They are expecting their 3rd child!!!! They are friends of ours from church. They have Kathryn who is Keagan's age 4 and Emily is 3. I hope they get to experience the joys of a boy!!!! Anyway, we are excited for them and their growing family, congrats guys!!!!

Okay, so it's time for another update. Where do I begin?? I guess it's been a while since posting so I'll do my best at catching you up on everything.
So, last week, the last week of June, was VBS. Many, many people, and many, many hours, and many, many resources were put into preparation for this big week!! There were 940 kids enrolled!!!! Isn't that awsome!!?? At least 17 kids came to know Christ!!!! Our church has an awsome pre school ministry and we are very grateful to be a part of our church!! Anyway, I was the director of one of the kinder classes but had to leave after our first day to go see my grandmother. I was torn. I hated to leave but I hated not to leave. The docs thought it might be my last chance to see her so I went. I returned in time to catch the last day of VBS. I will definately help out next year, direct, I don't know but definately help:)
Well my Granny had a lot wrong with her I won't give all the details but she is in a skilled nursing facility doing some rehab and hoping to get out this weekend. Everybody else doesn't think she'll be out that soon but we aren't telling her that just yet. Her legs are very week so hopefully this rehab they are putting her through there will help in her regaining some strength. Thanks to all of you that have asked about her and prayed for her!!!
We are still on the hunt for a house and narrowing our field very quickly. Hopefully within this week or early part of next week we will be assured of where we are going when moving day gets here.
School is going good. I have a mid-term due this week so if you think about it pray that I do well. I want to have all A's this semester, hopefully I won't let myself down.
Keagan went to see Uncle Matt and Aunt Amelia Thurs-Sun of last week. I dropped him off at there house on my way home from visiting my grandmother. Uncle Matt lives about 3 hours from our house. They have no kids YET and spoiled Keagan rotten. In the 3 days he was there he went swimming, ate out a lot I think, went to the movies, and went to Six Flags. He loved every minute of it. He even got his picture taken with Bat Man and Robin at Six Flags. Aunt Amelia hasn't sent me the pictures yet so I couldn't post that.
Ok, I guess that about does it for now. Hope you enjoy the pictures!!!
Happy 4th to you all!!! And mostly thank you to all of you serving in the military to defend our freedom!! And thank you to all military families for supporting your soldiers, you go through a lot with long deployments as well. Thank you for all of your sacrifices!!!!

Ready for the parade!!

So the above picture is what happens when I try to do some house cleaning. Things in other rooms get torn apart so the whole house can never be clean all at the same time!!
Oh wow!! I know it has been so long since I've posted anything on here. So much has been going on. Life has been so hectic and crazy and I don't see an end in sight in the next couple of weeks.
What we've been up to, well........I'm in school. I'm taking two classes this semester. They are online courses which is nice but I still have to fit in time to study every now and then. I'll be going through an RN program at a college not far from our house. I'm not sure if I'll start spring '08 or Fall of '08 but as soon as I get two more pre reques out of the way I'll start. Not sure if I can do biology and A&P I in the same semester or not. Might be a little tough but I REALLY want to start the program in January so we will see. It'll be tough but I am pretty determined to do this so look out world. I would like to be a L & D nurse(labor and delivery) if I end up not liking that then I would probably go to NICU next. So, that's one thing that's been going on.....next, VBS starts tomorrow. I am directing one of our 3 kinder classes. I've never helped with VBS much less directed a class so I've been pretty overwhelmed with that. It takes a lot of planning and time to prepare for this big week!!! Pray that it goes well and that we can ALL be an example to these children and plant seeds in them that won't ever stop growing!!! Next on the list. We put our house back up for sale a couple of weeks ago and received 2 offers that very same week so we will close mid July and be out at the end of July. We don't know where we are going just waiting on God to direct us and help us feel at ease about a home. We would love to have something bigger!!!! Last week Keagan was sick for about 3 days and my grandmother went in the hospital. She went home and then went back a day later and since then we found out that she has conjestive heart failure and pneumonia!!! She's very weak and my parents say she is sleeping a lot so pray for her whenever you think about her. Also, I thought I had time to fit a garage sale in so I had one on Friday and Saturday, what was I thinking!!?? It actually went pretty well and I was able to get rid of a lot of stuff that was just taking up space in the attic, so that was good. This is going to be a long week for me. I am supposed to be at VBS every day before 8 am. We usually aren't out of bed before 8 am much less dressed and somewhere by 8am. Pray that I'll have LOTS of energy to make it until Friday.
Ok, so that's it, that's why I haven't posted lately. I also need to be studying for a mid-term so hopefully I can fit than in this week at some point!!! Hope each of you are doing well and hope to hear from you all soon!!!

Ok well tonight, or I guess it's last night since it is past 12am now, I went to a girls night out. Well it was kind of GNO/sending another military friend off. Anywho, it was a lot of fun!!! We just went out to a local restaurant, which I won't name because my food sucked, but at least the company was fun!!! It's SO nice to have such great girlfriends. We can talk about anything with each other, tonight proved that!!! I'm sure the few people sitting around us got an ear full and a giggle or two to themselves as well!!!! Shelly it's sad to see you go, we'll miss you on Monday nights!!! And.....why didn't I take my camera?? What was I thinking, oh well!!! Just had to let you all know how much fun we had. It's always nice to get a break from the kids and hubby once in a while.

Now, to back up to the weekend. We had some friends of ours come into town for a wedding. They have a 1 1/2 year old little boy. They stayed for 2 nights, so more fun with old friends again!! It was so nice having them around. Aaron is a VERY active little guy and Keagan enjoyed having him here a lot!! Jason and I enjoyed catching up with them on their lives and hanging out watching crazy movies late at night!!:) Scott also got Jason to skip out on church Sunday and play a round of golf. Jason enjoyed it a lot and I'm glad he got to do it since he works so hard all of the time and hardly ever has any down time to himself. Thanks Peschels for letting us know you would be in town, can't wait to have y'all back again. You are welcome anytime!!!

As for this week, there is a lot going on. School, studying, test taking, presentation due, VBS preperation, etc, etc!! Also, Jason's mom (MeMe) is here visitng until Thursday. I've been a little overwhelmed with everything that needs to get done but I know I'll make it because " I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength"!!!!!

My handsome little cowboy living his dream!!

Ok, well I have to tell you, today was a BIG day!!! The boys and I went up to a little bitty town to visit a good friend of ours that used to live in Waco but lives out of state now. She and her sweet little girls were in visiting this week. She is staying with a family that owns almost 2,000 acres. So, we were on a real ranch all day. And, you know who, absolutely was lovin' it!! We did so many "cowboy things" but riding a real horse topped it all!!! Keagan couldn't help but grin from ear to ear when he got on this horse. First, the sweet lady's grandson led the horse around while Keagan and Chloe took turns riding on the horses back alone then Keagan got to ride on it with a "real cowboy." We had such a fun time seeing Courtney and her little girls. I was amazed at how Courtney's oldest little girl looks identical to her mommy!!! It was fun hanging out and chatting about whatever. We (both of us before kids) used to hang out a whole lot when we were both in the same town. Now, living states away from each other we don't see and talk near as much but it's always nice when Courtney comes back for her yearly visit (usually with a new addition to the family) to sit a catch up on things. Maybe we can come up your way sometime!! Thanks for calling Court. It was much fun seeing you all!!!!!! Courtney, why didn't we get Wanda to take a group pic of us with our kids??!!

Kason wondering what in the world he is on!!
