Keagan has always impressed me with his coloring and drawing skills. I believe he is the best 5 y/o artist ever ;) Today he drew this giraffe picture and I just had to share it with the world. Have a great day!!

Keagan has always been fascinated with corn fields and how corn grows on a corn stalk in an ear. Every time he goes with me to buy groceries he just looks at the fresh corn wondering how in the world all the corn is wrapped up inside. The other day, while buying groceries, I decided to buy some ears of corn and let him shuck it. He loved every minute of it. I wanted to try it while Kason was napping but that didn't happen so Kason joined in the fun. I forgot how much more delicious fresh corn on the cob is compared to the frozen corn on the cob!!!

What a big day today was!! I can hardly believe that I have a child old enough to be starting kindergarten!!!! I do though and he did unbelievably well this morning when we dropped him off. No tears for him! I appeared to be strong and pushed all of my tears away. I've been sad off and on today but I guess I'll survive;) I'm sure it won't be too long and Kason will be doing the same thing. Kason and I had a fun day together that included swimming with playgroup. Anyway, enjoy the picts and enjoy the rest of the week!!! Ok well, I will have to admit I believe I am addicted to digi scrapping!! I have finally figured out how my program works and am getting quicker at navigating around and arranging things. My mom and I put our creative heads together tonight and put together a few pages. Yes, it did take 4 hours for two pages but hey that's better than my first page that took 6 hours for only one page!!! Maybe tomorrow I can do one in one hour=) Anyway, here is what we did tonight. My first attempt at digi scrapping, I know it's a little plain and basic but I'm still just trying to get the hang of it. Thanks for the advice and tips Tina they really helped me out. One day each week of our summer includes swimming at different pools with our playgroup. This is one of my favorite things because I get to relax, chat with friends, and watch the kids have fun. I normally forget my camera but one week I actually remembered to snap a few pix!
